IIFT Delhi MBA Form 2027-29 Is Out: Last Date, Fee, Eligibility and How to Apply

The IIFT Delhi application form for the 2027-29 MBA is now open, and it closes on 25 November, four days before CAT. IIFT uses only your CAT score, so you can apply before the result, and the form needs documents that take time to get ready. Here is everything you need before you submit.

The Short Answer

IIFT's MBA application opened on 12 October 2026 and closes on 25 November 2026 at 11:59 PM, and payment closes at the same time. You need a valid CAT 2026 score, a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and a scanned set of documents. The fee for MBA (International Business) is ₹3,000 for general, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and ₹1,500 for SC, ST, PwD and transgender candidates. Fill the form before CAT, because you can apply without a score.

Programmes You Can Apply For

IIFT offers two MBA programmes through this form:

  • MBA (International Business): the flagship programme and the one most aspirants apply for.
  • MBA (Business Analytics): a separate programme for the analytics track.

You can submit separate applications for the two programmes, and each has its own fee. IIFT is known for international business, trade and global markets, so if that is your direction, compare it with other options in our lists of the top B-schools for consulting and business analytics.

Application Fee

Category MBA (IB) MBA (BA)
General, EWS, OBC-NCL ₹3,000 About ₹2,000
SC, ST, PwD, Transgender ₹1,500 About ₹1,000

The fee is non-refundable, so confirm your programme before you pay.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline from a recognised university.
  • At least 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
  • A valid CAT 2026 score. IIFT accepts only CAT for this programme.
  • There is no age limit.

If you are a final-year student, check IIFT's current rules on final-year applicants before you apply.

Which Exam Score Do You Need?

Only CAT 2026. Registering for CAT and filling the IIFT form are two separate steps. Your CAT registration does not apply you to IIFT, and you add your CAT application number when you fill the IIFT form. CAT is on 29 November, so your score will arrive after the form closes. That is expected, and IIFT uses the score for shortlisting afterwards.

How to Fill the IIFT Delhi MBA Form

  1. Open the IIFT admissions portal from the official IIFT website, through the current admissions or announcements section.
  2. Create a fresh login with your email, password and CAT application number, and select your programme.
  3. Log in again and complete the personal and academic sections.
  4. Upload your documents in the required format and size.
  5. Save, review and pay the fee online by card, net banking or UPI.
  6. Submit the form, print it and keep the payment confirmation.

Keep These Ready

  • A valid email ID and mobile number
  • A scanned passport-size photograph
  • Your signature in JPG or JPEG format, in black ink, under 100 KB
  • Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets as PDFs, under 300 KB each
  • Your degree certificate, or your provisional or consolidated marksheet, as a PDF under 300 KB
  • Your CAT 2026 application details
  • A category certificate if applicable (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD, EWS or Kashmiri Migrant), as a PDF under 300 KB
  • Work experience certificates as PDFs, if you have any

Check the file size limits on the form itself, since they are the ones that count. Scan your documents clearly, because a rejected upload can cost you time near the deadline.

How IIFT Selects Candidates

The process runs in stages.

  1. Shortlisting after CAT. IIFT shortlists candidates mainly on your CAT 2026 score, with smaller contributions from factors such as work experience and diversity.
  2. Group discussion and personal interview. Shortlisted candidates are called from February 2027.
  3. Final selection. The final result combines your CAT score, interview performance and other profile factors.

CAT carries the largest share of the weight, and the interview stage adds a smaller but meaningful share. IIFT's weights can change from year to year, so read the current selection criteria on its website. The cutoff is not published in advance, and expected percentiles you see online are estimates. See our post on IIM Calcutta's MBA selection criteria for 2027 for an example of how a composite score is built.

Cost of the Programme

The total programme fee is about ₹19.7 lakh for the MBA (International Business) and about ₹17.9 lakh for the MBA (Business Analytics), based on the latest figures. Fees change every year, so check the current number before you decide.

Tips to Strengthen Your Application

  • Fill the form early. The server slows near the deadline, and a document issue can take days to fix.
  • Do not wait for your CAT score. The form closes before the exam.
  • Prepare your documents now. Scan them to the right size and keep them in one folder.
  • Choose your programme honestly. Pick the one you can explain in an interview.
  • Prepare for the GD and interview. Our guide to the mistakes to avoid in the last six weeks before CAT 2026 covers how to prepare your stories early.
  • Balance your calendar. Several forms close in the same week. Our calendar of MBA forms closing in November 2026 shows the full list, and our guide to the CAT 2026 admit card covers what to carry on exam day.
  • Compare before you decide. Our comparison of FMS vs MDI vs SPJIMR can help you build a balanced list.

What We Do Not Know Yet

  • IIFT does not publish a safe CAT percentile, so any cutoff you see is an estimate.
  • The weights for each selection stage can change from year to year.
  • Seat numbers differ between listings, so check IIFT's brochure for the current intake.
